KIDS & Teens
Jiu Jitsu is a physical skillset but inspires social-emotional learning as well. Through martial arts training, children develop deep respect for themselves and others and learn to collaborate and persevere through challenges. Jiu Jitsu has also been known to help children improve upon academic performance. If your child has ADHD and struggles with academic learning and interpersonal skills, Jiu jitsu can help him or her improve in these areas.
Many martial arts schools offer only one or two levels for students. We offer four to make sure that your children will receive appropriate training. These divisions help kids learn Jiu jitsu in a challenging yet not overly difficult environment. They also keep classes safe and help kids make friends with their classmates. Our levels are age-based but there is a crossover. We allow this because students learn at different paces. We also have a high teacher-to-student ratio so newer students can practice basic moves while advanced students learn advanced moves.
LITTLE TYKES 4-6 YRS.
The Little Tykes program offers a holistic approach to childhood development, blending fun with fundamental life skills through "rough and tumble play." This martial art teaches physical coordination, balance, and self-defense in a controlled environment, fostering bodily awareness and agility. Beyond physical benefits, it instills discipline, respect, and perseverance, while promoting social skills like communication, cooperation, and empathy. As children learn to interact respectfully with peers and instructors, they gain a sense of community and belonging. Thus, Jiu-Jitsu is not just about physical training; it's a comprehensive program that prepares young children for various life challenges, shaping them into well-rounded, confident individuals.
