muay thai kickboxing

Muay Thai Kickboxing has a rich and interesting history. It dates back hundreds of years and consists of learning to use your arms, legs, elbows and knees to combat an opponent. For this reason, it is sometimes called β€œthe art of eight limbs.”

Our Muay Thai Kickboxing classes are taught by head coach Nick Vasallo and are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We offer training at the beginner, intermediate and advanced level.

WE WORK WITH:

  • Beginners who are taking classes for the first time

  • Intermediate students who want to improve their skills

  • Advanced students who are preparing for an upcoming competition

  • Professionals who want a highly effective yet short workout that will help them get in shape in a short period of time.

Muay Thai classes provide a cardiovascular workout that will have your heart pumping and blood racing.

You will burn hundreds of calories every single class. You will also work out muscles that typically do not get a good workout when you use gym equipment, walk, run, jog, swim or ride a bike.

As a side benefit, Muay Thai boosts your immune system by ridding your body of unwanted toxins. These toxins, which build up in the course of day-to-day living, hold you back in day-to-day living. They prevent you from fully engaging in your work, enjoying your family and friends and having the good health you were always meant to have.

As you train, you will notice yourself developing a well-proportioned physique that is strong and supple. Your complexion will glow and you will set back the aging process. Students who pursue ongoing training look and feel youthful and energetic. They are also ready to enjoy life to the fullest.

Additionally, Muay Thai Kickboxing is an essential skill to learn if you want to take Mixed Martial Arts training at some point in time. All our coaches have professional fighting experience on either a national or international level. They are happy to teach you the Muay Thai fighting skills you will need to become a professional fighter. They can also impart valuable advice from their experiences competing in various forums.

If you are interested in this type of training, our adaptable one on one classes are likely to provide the setting that will best meet your needs.

We offer flexible scheduling options so you can slot in classes around your busy work and family life. Nonetheless, Muay Thai is not just about getting a good workout in a short period of time. It is not even about developing an award-winning skill that will serve you well later in life. This unique martial art also offers mental benefits that professionals from all walks of life are sure to benefit from.

Muay Thai toughens you up as you learn to face seemingly impossible challenges and overcome them.

You will learn to push yourself to the limit and beyond as you improve your moves and receive training in new techniques. Muay Thai also provides a great atmosphere for releasing pent-up anger and frustration in a healthy, safe manner.

You may come away from class feeling physically exhausted. At the same time, you are also almost certain to feel mentally energized, de-stressed and ready to face whatever life may throw at you next.
